Human Performance – A New Era. In or around 1990, an innovative, proactive approach to error avoidance emerged. For many years, accident investigators found a number of common causes whenever “human error” was involved in the causation of an accident. This new approach was to identify the common causal themes, and then develop strategies for people to recognize when accident precursor conditions were developing. Early pioneers in this field of study were Dr. Aubrey Daniels and Dr. James Reason.

Basic worker error-reduction. Typically a 4-hour program that reviews human nature, work environment, and basic error-reduction strategies. We have delivered this program through Bloomsburg University Continuing Education and with local clients, including a well-known pharmaceutical manufacturer.
