This workshop is intended for professionals in the assessment, organizational development, and continuous improvement function. The workshop covers a variety of continuous improvement activities based on proven practices and theories. At the conclusion of this two-day workshop, each attendee should have a better understanding of: the continuous improvement cycle, methods for achieving continuous improvement, methods for evaluating organization-level performance, and tools for implementing continuous improvement and trending. Includes a workbook and copies of the slides.

 Basic Incident Investigation and Auditing

“Big Picture”: This course is intended to be a simple, direct delivery of investigation and auditing fundamentals to help the new practitioner become immediately more effective. It is designed for people relatively new to these activities (e.g., new responsibility, new hire, or new regulation).

Bottom line – this class is NOT theory – it is 8 hours of practical skills demonstrated effective in real industrial settings.

 Advanced Incident Investigation and Auditing

“Big Picture”: There is no substitute for experience in the investigation and auditing business. It is a performing art. The only way to become an expert is to do it – a lot. However, there are some simple tactics for experienced practitioners that will speed your development to expert-level. This course is designed to be an interactive collaboration between experienced students, the experienced instructor, and proven advanced techniques and approaches. Bottom line – this class is NOT theory and NOT for beginners – it is 8 hours of practical, advanced skills demonstrated effective in real industrial settings. At least one year of auditing or experience with at least 10 incident investigations or completion of SAI’s Basic course is strongly recommended before taking this course.
