Our ApproachSimple Approach is an organizational problem-solving company. Who knows a company’s issues (weaknesses, inefficiencies, so on) the best? Who has the best solutions in their minds about how to make improvements?
Our approach to organizational problem-solving relies on collaboration: Partner with the customer organization to Collaboratively evaluate the organization’s current state, Identify opportunities for improvement, and then Use tools designed to tap into the knowledge and creativity of the employees to address the organization’s unique needs.
We are NOT content salesmen. We help the people in the customer organization discover their own, best solutions. There is a simple framework for any successful organization in any business. The discovery and improvement process is summarized below.
1. Strategy: Does the organization have a strategic business plan? That managers use to align their department goals? That addresses business critical functions?
2. People: How does the organization lead its most important asset? Are the leadership styles aligned with the goals? Are leadership behaviors producing the desired level of commitment, trust, and morale? Do the workers see the company goals?
3. Systems: How effective and efficient are the work processes? How well are the processes aligned with business critical needs? Are they aligned with the values and leadership behaviors?
4. Internal Customers (employees): Sound performance in the first three factors will lead to individual alignment with goals, positive attitude, and excellent customer interface. Direct contact and first impressions with customers are lasting.
5. Outcomes: The net result of 1-4 is the product or service delivered to the external customer. The quality and degree of customer satisfaction reflect how 1-4 are achieved.
Our toolbag of diagnostic and improvement tools is extensive and has been proven effective in dozens of industries. The approach is holistic. Evaluation or improvement actions taken in only one segment of the model may miss an important opportunity.
